Federal 100 winner: Donna Roy

As director of DHS' Enterprise Data Management Office, Roy worked with chief information officers and interagency working groups to get datasets to comply with the National Information Exchange Model so they could be shared across programs.

Roy worked with chief information officers and interagency working groups to get datasets to comply with the National Information Exchange Model so agencies could share them across programs. 

The office also started work on developing a comprehensive data asset catalog. In January 2008, then-DHS Secretary Michael Chertoff complimented the department's chief information officer's office on this work, saying, "enterprise data management is an essential ingredient of an effective information-sharing program."
