GSA moves personnel

Casey Coleman becomes CIO, replacing Jimmy Parker, who was named assistant regional administrator of GSA's Heartland Region.

Jimmy Parker, former chief information officer at the General Services Administration's Federal Technology Service, has been named assistant regional administrator of GSA's Heartland Region, which has its headquarters in Kansas City, Mo.

Casey Coleman, former deputy associate administrator for citizen services at FTS, has been promoted to CIO.

An FTS spokeswoman confirmed the moves this week. Parker had served four years as CIO, while Coleman had been deputy associate administrator position for two years.
