Jim Flyzik, the former chief information officer at the Treasury Department, is leaving the consulting firm of Guerra Kiviat Flyzik and Associates Inc. to join the Flyzik Group.

The move is effective April 1 when Flyzik will join the consulting and training group started last year by his wife, Candace.

Bob Guerra and Phil Kiviat will remain in practice together, renaming their business, Guerra Kiviat Inc. The group, including Flyzik, had been together for three years, providing strategic marketing consulting services to private sector companies.

“Bob and I will continue to do business as we had before Jim joined us,” Kiviat said.

Flyzik said his wife's company has been "heavily involved in performance-based contracting." He said he will be doing the consulting part of the business and will branch into other areas with her. He said the company's Web site can be seen at www.theflyzikgroup.com.
