VSE, ManTech capture Army pact

ManTech is serving as a subcontractor on task order that could be worth more than $350M.

VSE, with ManTech International serving as a subcontractor, have landed an Army maintenance and logistics services pact potentially worth more than $350 million.

The task order, awarded through a VSE omnibus contract, will support Army equipment in Iraq and Afghanistan. The task order has a one-year base period valued at about $139 million and a one-year option valued at about $212 million.

ManTech will perform the bulk of the work under the task order, providing sustainment management, logistics management, system training and curriculum support among other services. The contract has initial funding of as much as $30 million, and could be expanded if necessary, according to ManTech.

VSE’s Communications and Engineering Division will provide program management services.
