BMC Software names two new sales directors

BMC Software, a Houston-based provider of enterprise management solutions, has announced two new appointments.Chris Aherne has been named managing director for federal government. He will be responsible for managing sales and business development activities, including civilian, Defense Department and intelligence agencies and large systems integrators.Aherne has more than 15 years’ experience serving government customers for enterprise software companies.BMC named John Milbank director of state and local government, responsible for managing the sales and business development for the company’s state and local government clients and educational institutions.Milbank has more than 25 years of experience in the technology industry.
