SRA hires fed contracting expert
Mark Connel will direct SRA’s negotiations and administration of government contracts, subcontracts and procurements.
Mark Connel has joined SRA International as vice president and executive director for contracts and procurement, the company announced today.
Connel will direct SRA’s negotiations for and administration of government contracts and all related subcontracts and procurements. He will also oversee contract policy and compliance with regulations.
Connel has more than 26 years of experience in contract management oversight, implementation and administration, according to SRA. He previously was senior vice president for administration and director of contracts for the Intelligence and Security Group at Science Applications International Corp.
He held other contract and procurement management positions at SAIC and at Boeing Information Services and Boeing, where he integrated 43 contracts process teams after Boeing’s merger with Rockwell International and McDonnell Douglas. While at Boeing, he led a contract administration staff on a $1.6 billion Army engagement.
