Northrop Grumman IT names chief medical officer

Northrop Grumman Information Technology has named Dr. Harry Greenspun its chief medical officer.

Greenspun will provide strategic direction for Northrop Grumman's health solutions business and will serve as an adviser to the health care community, customers, partners, government agencies and health care organizations on issues of technology and health policy. His new role will increase Northrop Grumman's growing presence in the health care field.

Prior to joining Northrop Grumman, Greenspun was a consultant to hospitals and health systems, pharmaceutical companies and the health IT industry. Early in his career, Greenspun founded a company to track the outcome of patients undergoing cardiac surgery.
