Agiliance expands executive team

The company has named three new vice presidents.

Agiliance has expanded its executive management team. The company appointed Dev Ghoshal as vice president of business development and global client services, Bob Horn as vice president of sales, and Patrick Kerans as vice president of marketing.

As head of business development, Ghoshal is responsible for Agiliance’s partner strategy and leads all partner engagements. As the executive in charge of Global Client Services, he also leads the company's professional services and customer support. He has more than 15 years’ experience at Agiliance. Earlier in his career, Ghoshal spent five years at McKinsey and Co., a global strategic consulting company, where he worked with clients in the high-technology, energy and transportation sectors. He then joined i2 Technologies, a supply-chain software organization.

Horn comes to Agiliance from Sun Microsystems, where he led Sun's U.S. Software Identity Management sales teams. He has also held numerous sales management roles at Sun in the Sun/Netscape Alliance, iPlanet and SunONE software organizations. Before working at Sun, Horn held management positions at AMR and Boeing.

Kerans has more than 20 years’ experience in leading product management, marketing communications, operations and strategy consulting teams at new companies and Fortune 500 corporations. Before joining Agiliance, he led marketing at Counterpane Internet Security -- now BT Counterpane -- in the managed security services market. He has held leadership roles in product management and business development at Lotus/IBM. Kerans co-founded and led marketing at Altawave, which was later acquired by Lightbridge. Before that, he held management consulting roles at A.T. Kearney/EDS and Arthur D. Little.
