Harmony hires new VP of sales

William Sullivan will provide strategic and operational direction to the company's global sales operations and sales support teams, expand business partnerships, define sales channels, and set corporate objectives.

William Sullivan has joined Harmony Information Systems, a provider of software solutions and consulting services for the health and human services sector, as senior vice president of sales, channels and business development, the company announced Nov. 13. 


In this position, Sullivan will lead Harmony’s sales and business development organizations. He will provide strategic and operational direction to the company's global sales operations and sales support teams, expand business partnerships, define sales channels, and set corporate objectives. Additionally, Sullivan will help Harmony plan product and service direction in response to changing requirements in specific health and human services areas.


Sullivan joins Harmony from SAP , where he was vice president of field operations for the Northeast Region. Prior to that, he was vice president of North American Public Sector Applications at Oracle and vice president of North America State and Local Government at PeopleSoft. He has also held senior sales positions at IBM’s Tivoli Systems, Sybase and EDS.
