CORRECTION: Census still plans to fingerprint temp workers

This story relied on an inaccurate source. The Office of Personnel Management said it has not received a letter from the Census Bureau requesting to waive a requirement for fingerprinting temporary workers hired to conduct the 2010 census. Census Bureau officials also confirmed that the bureau so far has not considered the option of waiving fingerprinting requirements to expedite the hiring of temp workers.
