Letter: Postal management treatment harsh on workers

A readers says the postal service uses "unethical and illegal pressure on longtime workers who have injuries" from the job's tasks.

Regarding "USPS finds six ways to cut costs, not services": What the postal management does not include in this article is their unethical and illegal pressure on longtime workers who have injuries by attrition from letter carrying to retire early or go on disability, while knowing the [Equal Employment Opportunity Commission] laws demand that they accommodate such workers.  This is a scandal they will put their own spin on and dismiss as cost cutting. But, that is precisely what it is.
Yes, we have legal recourse, but they know it takes time and are counting on the worker give up as the worker loses her home and job.
