A GAO official says OMB needs to provide more information on the management and performance of high-risk and troubled information technology projects, according to NextGov.

The Office of Management and Budget should provide the Government Accountability Office with more details on the management and performance of programs on OMB's list of high-risk technology projects, a GAO official told a Senate panel, according to NextGov.


GAO is seeking information on cost overruns, schedule delays and performance issues, said David Powner, director of information technology management issues at GAO, speaking to the Senate's Subcommittee on Federal Financial Management, Government Information, Federal Services and International Security, NextGov reports.
