Since the records were scanned in electronically, who will get the data and will the data entered into the system go with HP? If they knew it wasn't working last year, why did they keep paying versus canceling the contract in 2007.

Sounds like the election is over and I slept through it?

It seems to me that the economic slowdown in the industrial sector, specifically automotive and energy, would be a focus for that chief technical officer. How to reduce dependence on foreign oil should be a priority. Look to that area for a CTO, not electronics. iPods and personal computer toys are not going to provide homeland security.
