What you're most proud of accomplishing on the job: Planning a strategy to achieve a record-setting $750,000 in sponsorship donations for the AFCEA Bethesda Children’s Inn Gala and then successfully leading a team to exceed that goal.

Career highlight: Architecting the Hygeia Solutions Partners Joint Venture to support the CIO-SP3 Unrestricted contract. Selecting the right partners and designing a business structure that improves on the typical model took more than two years of hard work.

Your advice for a government IT wannabe: Be prepared to work hard, make sacrifices, and take the mission of your organization or customer to heart. Always remember that continuous improvement is a concept that works for organizations and for individuals.

What you enjoy most about working in government IT: Solving problems, working with and competing against the best and brightest in the industry, delivering solutions that have a real impact on our nation, and building long-term strategies and watching them yield success for my customers and my company.
