Looking for a few good IT trainees
Post-9/11 veterans and civilians who served in war zones, and qualified spouses, are eligible.
A newly formed Maryland-based non-profit is seeking civilians who have served in war zones and military veterans to enroll in their IT training and job placement program. NS2 Serves, established by SAP National Security Service, has up to 20 paid training spots open.
Selected candidates will be trained in software used for national security missions. Beginning in March, enrolled applicants will undergo full-time training over a three-month period in Maryland.
“Graduates will gain ‘SAP Associate Consultant’ status -- a certification that is highly valuable in many career paths in the U.S. and worldwide,” an NS2 press release said. “Trainees also will have weekly discussions with a business mentor and, upon graduation, will receive placement assistance to work in the U.S. national security field or elsewhere in SAP's vast U.S. network.”
Applications are due by close of business Jan. 31. Post-9/11 veterans and civilians who served in war zones, and qualified spouses, are eligible. Preference will be given to those who recently returned from war zones.
