NRC awards information systems security contract

MAR will lead a team under a $40 million contract to support commission's security certification and accreditation process implementation.

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has chosen a Rockville, Md., firm called MAR to support NRC's information systems security and accreditation process implementation. The Consolidated Information System Security Services contract is worth more than $40 million.

MAR will lead a team that will develop security documentation and perform the systems analyses necessary for the system to be approved for national security, intelligence and general information systems.

The team includes:

  • Force 3.
  • Radius Technology Group.
  • Lockheed Martin Information Technology.
  • Number Six Software.
  • R4 Communications.
  • Van Dyke Technology Group.
