Panetta appoints new leader of cyber programs

Defense Secretary Leon Panetta appointed on Oct. 4 Eric Rosenbach to lead defense cyber programs, reports NextGov.
The former Senate staffer and private security consultant will assume the role of deputy assistant secretary of defense for cyber policy within the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Global Strategic Affairs, the article states.
His new role will include overseeing efforts to develop and install cyber-related policies, strategies and plans. Rosenbach replaces Robert Butler.
