The work: Championing CACI’s cybersecurity internship program, which hires college students in their junior year and provides them with relevant work experience until graduation, when they transfer into full-time positions at CACI.

The impact: The program helps develop future leaders who can successfully navigate complex federal IT management responsibilities and become the next-generation cybersecurity workforce.

The nuts and bolts: Porter was also instrumental in establishing and expanding the CACI Cyber Solutions Lab, which offers real-time, hands-on access to technologies in a collaborative environment that brings government and industry together to develop unique solutions to emerging cybersecurity threats.
