President nominates Deyo to DHS management slot
Longtime Johnson & Johnson executive would fill vacancy left by Raphael Borras.
The White House plans to nominate Russell C. Deyo to fill the Department of Homeland Security's undersecretary for management position left vacant when Raphael Borras departed this past winter.
Borras left DHS in February to return to the private sector, and has since joined management consulting group A.T. Kearney as a senior advisor. Chris Cummiskey, the deputy undersecretary for management, has been acting management undersecretary since Borras' departure.
Deyo retired from Johnson & Johnson in 2012, after a 27-year career with the firm. Before working at Johnson & Johnson, he was an assistant United States Attorney for the District of New Jersey.
