Santangelo's managers say his relentless efforts to develop viable and intelligent legislative, policy and administrative options are driving shared services adoption -- at DHS and across the government. As co-chairman of the CIO Council's Shared Services Task Force, Santangelo boosted visibility of shared services for commodity IT, support and mission services. He also worked hard to pull industry into the conversations, coordinating a Shared Services Industry Roundtable and serving as a critical engine for ACT-IAC's September Shared Services forum.
