CIO shuffle: Senior tech leaders detailed to OPM, OMB
Deputy CIOs at DHS and OMB detailed to temporary positions, as part of a move to fill an IT leadership gap at the Office of Personnel Management.

The Department of Homeland Security's deputy CIO and the federal deputy CIO will temporarily fill top IT management positions outside their agencies to help the Office of Personnel Management.
Lisa Schlosser, currently deputy federal CIO and deputy administrator of E-Government and IT in the Office of Management and Budget's Office of E-Government and Information Technology, has been provisionally detailed to the Office of Personnel Management.
At OPM, she will be the acting CIO and a senior advisor to Acting Director Beth Cobert until OPM finds a permanent CIO, according to an internal memo from DHS Deputy Under Secretary for Management Chip Fulghum obtained by FCW.
In turn, DHS Deputy CIO Margie Graves has been detailed to OMB to fill Schlosser's job on a temporary basis.
The moves, first reported by Federal News Radio, follow the February resignation of embattled OPM CIO Donna Seymour, as part of the aftermath of the of the breach at the agency that exposed the personal data of at least 22 million Americans.
Jeanne Etzel, executive director of the DHS' NextGen enterprise computing services contract effort, will serve as DHS' deputy CIO in Graves' absence, according the memo.
