End of an ICE age. Fitzhugh brought ICE’s case management system out of an era of frozen data by modernizing a 30-year-old mainframe system that handled more than 2 million transactions per day. He and his team went all out to implement what was estimated to be a five-year-plus project on an aggressive one-year timeline. With the new Investigative Case Management system, users now can create an electronic file that organizes all records associated with a case via the cloud, empowering agents to conduct more thorough, data-driven investigations in support of ICE’s mission.
