Lisa Waple

Customer Experience Practice Lead

Lisa Waple leads the Customer Experience Practice at CGI Federal, based in Fairfax, Virginia. In this role, she manages a team of Digital subject matter experts in CX Strategy, Design Thinking, User-Centered Design, and Modern UI Development.

Lisa brings over 20 years of experience serving both commercial and federal government clients in the development of end-to-end solutions for improved digital experiences. In each project, she brings the customer focus to the forefront to maximize product adoption and user satisfaction. She guides clients in their shift to user-centered design, incorporating Agile methodologies and iterative design practices to maximize client return on investment and drive positive business outcomes. During her nine years at CGI, Lisa has played a key leadership role in projects that include Medicare.gov, CMS.gov, USPTO.gov, and EPA.gov.

Prior to joining CGI, Lisa worked in the commercial market, specializing in web-enabled applications for several Fortune 500 clients, including Visa Inc., H&R Block, Fidelity Investments, Time Warner, Prudential, Thomson Financial, EF Tours, and Insurance.com.

Lisa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development and Psychology from Colby College, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Art Center College of Design.
