Online Legal Research Firm Expands Coverage to 45 States
Loislaw.com, an Internet provider of primary legal research, recently expanded its offering to include case law and statutes databases from five more states, now including a total of 45 states and Washington, D.C.
Loislaw.com, an Internet provider of primary legal research, recently expanded its offering to include case law and statutes databases from five more states, now including a total of 45 states and Washington, D.C.
The latest additions to its Lois Professional Library Series are Montana, Kentucky, Oregon, West Virginia and Wyoming. The Van Buren, Ark.-based firm is scheduled to add the remaining five states by the end of the year.
The company offers the official decisions of the U.S. Supreme Court, the 13 Federal Circuit Courts of Appeal, the Supreme Court Rules, the U.S. Code, the code of federal regulations and the Federal Register. An Internet-all option includes access to all of the company's databases.
The company also announced that the New York Unified Court System's Office of Court Administration, has purchased a 500-seat Internet-all license for the Lois Professional Library Series.
Subscriptions to each law library are offered on the World Wide Web on a flat-rate, unlimited-use basis and the Loislaw.com Web site (www.loislaw.com) features legal information from more than 1,500 databases and about 8 million documents of federal and state law and continuing legal education materials.
