Once the Effective, Affordable, Reusable Speech-to-Text and Babylon devices are produced, the Defense Department's Language and Speech Exploitation Resources (LASER) team will take the lead in assessing their performance.
The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency "develops technologies, [and] we go out and demonstrate and test them," said Larry Goodell, oversight officer for LASER.
