CSC lands $88 million contract

The Homeland Security Department's Immigration and Customs Enforcement Bureau has awarded a contract worth up to $88 million to Computer Sciences Corp. to help process travelers who cross U.S. borders.

Under the contract announced Tuesday, CSC will provide system maintenance and operations support under a seven-year task order that has one base year and seven option years. If all options are exercised, the contract will be worth more than $88 million.

The deal was awarded under the STARLIGHT Inspections Systems Support task order, which is part of the National Institutes of Health's CIO-SP2 contract vehicle.

CSC provides software engineering services to the immigration bureau. The company will integrate and deploy software and hardware systems that enhance security and improve the flow of people and commerce across borders.
