ManTech wins Navy deal

The Navy awarded today a contract potentially worth nearly $50 million to ManTech International Corp. to provide support for reliability, engineering, technical and administrative services.

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division awarded the one-year contract to ManTech, based in Fairfax, Va. The contract has four one-year follow-on options, bringing its potential value to $49.8 million.

Under the competitively awarded contract, the company will support the Naval Air Systems Command's engineering department, providing reliability, quality assurance, diagnostic and system safety analysis during the design, development, production and in-service cycles of naval aircraft and their systems.

Work will be performed at Navair locations in Patuxent River and Lexington Park, Md., and Lakehurst, N.J.
