Officials from across government discussed how agencies are implementing the E-Government Act of 2002 at a breakfast sponsored by the Bethesda chapter of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association.[IMGCAP(3)], deputy CIO of the Commerce Department, talked about information policy development and management throughout federal agencies.Panelists at the breakfast also discussed Section 207 of the E-Government Act as it relates to directory services, content management, records management and accessibility.[IMGCAP(2)], deputy associate administrator for the General Services Administration’s Office of Citizen Services, discussed implementing the E-Government Act. She explained long-term benefits to citizens, other federal workers, and business.
