Northrop lands $408M Army deal
The Army will get training and simulation services from Northrop Grumman IT.
Northrop Grumman Corp. officials announced today that the company received a $408 million Army contract to provide training and simulation services to service commanders and their staffs.
Officials at the company's information technology business unit in Herndon, Va., will provide planning and support to simulate command and control decision-making for Army commanders and their staffs at the corps, division and brigade headquarter levels, according to a Northrop Grumman statement released today.
The contract covers 10 years and the work will primarily occur at Fort Leavenworth, Kan. The company's teammates include Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. in McLean, Va., and Cubic Corp. in San Diego, according to the statement.
