GoLearn.gov changes its name
OPM wanted to end the confusion over the government's e-learning Web site and a vendor with s similar name.
What’s in a name? Plenty.
The Office of Personnel Management recently found out that its popular GoLearn.gov, which offers more than 3,000 e-learning courses, has a similar name to that of an e-learning company, said Jeffrey Pon, deputy director of e-government initiatives at OPM.
To end any confusion, the agency is changing its site's name next week to USALearning.gov, which will be its new Web address, too, Pon said.
