Lockheed Martin gets Social Security purchase agreement
SSA has awarded a five-year blanket purchase agreement worth as much as $124 million for information technology services, including medical document scanning.
Lockheed Martin will provide information technology services to the Social Security Administration under the agency’s Electronic Disability Initiative National Scanning Project. SSA has awarded the company a blanket purchase agreement worth as much as $124 million in five years to allow agency officials to buy IT services.
Those services will include scanning of paper records and creating digital images for transmission to electronic folders that are part of the SSA’s Document Management Architecture.
Affiliated Computer Services will work with Lockheed Martin as a major subcontractor.
