Jumper joins PlatinumSolutions’ board
The former Air Force chief of staff will help the systems integrator increase its DOD business.
John Jumper, a former Air Force chief of staff, has joined the board of advisers at PlatinumSolutions.
Jumper, who retired last year as the Air Force’s top officer after 39 years in the service, will help PlatinumSolutions increase its Defense Department business. “He will be an asset by helping us formulate a comprehensive strategy to target new DOD growth opportunities,” said Laila Rossi, the chief executive officer of PlatinumSolutions, in a company statement issued today.
Jumper also serves on the boards of directors at Goodrich and Rolls-Royce North America Holdings and the nonprofit boards of the Air Force Association and the Air Force Villages Charitable Foundation. PlatinumSolutions is a systems integrator located in Reston, Va., that develops custom software using open standards primarily for law enforcement and homeland security including products that decipher and monitor terrorist communications.
