Australian contractor names North American sales chief
Ken Kellstrom has been promoted to vice president of sales for North America, helping the Australian defense contractor expand its presence in the U.S. federal sector.
Tenix America, a developer of commercial Cross-Domain Solutions for government and commercial organizations, announced today the promotion of Ken Kellstrom to vice president of sales for North America.
Kellstrom will run Tenix’s North American headquarters in McLean, Va., helping the Australian defense contractor to expand its U.S. presence, the company said.
He will spearhead Tenix’s expansion in the public sector, with emphasis on the Defense and Homeland Security departments.
Kellstrom has worked in the government information technology sales and solutions for more than 25 years. Before he joined Tenix America, he was vice president of sales at Platinum Technologies. He has held senior positions at Burroughs, which merged with Sperry to form Unisys; National Cash Register; Informix; and Entrust Technologies.
“In the past year, Kellstrom has been essential in bringing on 25 new customers, and we’ll continue to look to his ability to drive growth in the North American market,” said Steven Hedge, global general manager at Tenix in Australia, in the statement.
