SRA hires HR specialist

Dan Ward, a 28-year professional, has joined SRA International as vice president and human capital officer.

Dan Ward has joined SRA International as vice president and human capital officer, according to an announcement from the technology and strategic services provider to the federal government.

Ward will report to Renny DiPentima, SRA president and chief executive officer, and work with the executive management team to develop management strategies, including workforce planning, recruiting and staffing, and leadership development.

Ward has more than 28 years of experience in the public and private sectors specializing in strategic workforce development.

Before joining SRA, he was chief architect of organization and transformation design at EDS. His responsibilities included workforce development, employee retention and morale programs. Ward previously held senior human resources management positions at Texaco and GTE.

“Dan is a recognized leader in human resources and has the knowledge, creativity and vision to lead this important work,” DiPentima said in the statement. “As a professional services firm, our employees are absolutely vital to our success, and Dan’s efforts will help us continue to develop new programs to make SRA a great place to work.”
