Labor awards software subcontracts to ATS

The Labor Department has awarded ATS Corp. subcontracts totaling $12.1 million for software development on several department projects.

The Labor Department has awarded ATS Corp. subcontracts totaling $12.1 million for software development on several department projects.The subcontracts are for Advanced Technology Systems Inc., a subsidiary of ATS of McLean, Va.As a subcontractor to Electronic Consulting Services Inc. of Fairfax, Va., ATS will provide software design, development and support for claims processing system in Labor’s Employment Standards Administration. The ECS subcontracts are valued at $11.1 million.ATS also was awarded a $1 million subcontract from Platinum Solutions Inc. of Reston, Va., to provide similar software services for the Division of Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation within the ESA’s Office of Workers Compensation program.ATS will design and implement a Web-based claims processing system for that office.
