Tapella becomes Public Printer

He has been involved with GPO's digital transformation for the past five years.

The Senate confirmed and President Bush signed the commission to make Robert Tapella the 25th Public Printer. Tapella will lead more than 2,200 employees at the U.S. Government Printing Office.

He has been involved in GPO’s transformation into a profitable digital operation for the past five years, first as deputy chief of staff and then as chief of staff.
