Mitchell's interim replacement named

Stan Kaczmarczyk will continue as the Office of Governmentwide Policy's principal deputy associate administrator while overseeing the Office of Technology Strategy.

Stan Kaczmarczyk was named acting deputy associate administrator of the Office of Governmentwide Policy’s Office of Technology Strategy at the General Services Administration, GSA Acting Associate Administrator Kevin Messner announced Dec. 13. Kaczmarczyk replaces Mary Mitchell, who retired. 


Kaczmarczyk will continue in his job as OGP’s principal deputy associate administrator while expanding his responsibilities, temporarily, to include managing the Office of Technology Strategy until this position is filled permanently. 


The Office of Technology Strategy plays a central coordination role in implementing policies in many areas such as the Financial Management Line of Business, including the Financial Systems Integration Office, and identity management, including Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 standards.
