Letter: Set a DOD PowerPoint standard

One reader, who is not fond of PowerPoint's bullets, writes: "The use of bullets within the Department of Defense should be limited to weapons."

Regarding "PowerPoint: Project yourself," a reader writes: Excellent article. The use of bullets within the Department of Defense should be limited to weapons. The time wasted while audiences search for the specific "bullet" that the briefer wants to address could be eliminated if each item in the chart was simply numbered -- like was done before the advent of PowerPoint.

Mr. Kawasaki's 10-20-30 rule should be established as the DOD briefing standard.
