Letter: Abuse is the exception, not the rule
A reader writes to agree with those outraged by charges of absenteeism.
Regarding "Buzz of the Week: Have many feds gone AWOL?"
I read "The Buzz" in FCW, 9/1/08, and must agree with the perspective of those outraged by the charges of abuse. I am well aware of a few individuals who appear to be abusing the system. However, they are really the exception rather than the rule. To imply that there is far reaching abuse, namely that all federal employees cheat the clock, would be paramount to saying that all politicians are crooks!
