VA starts telework tax credit
Virginia companies are being offered cash in exchange for starting telework progams.
Seeing telework as a way to reduce pollution and traffic and to lower costs for its residents, Virginia is offering companies a tax credit worth up to $1,200 per teleworker to cover the cost of the home office equipment, reports NBC12.
The Telework Virginia program offers the credit to businesses if they begin telework programs for their employees in 2012 and 2013.
