GovTV: Selling federal managers on a new HR dashboard
OPM Director Katherine Archuleta touts the workforce insights available (to some) on UnlockTalent.gov.
The Office of Personnel Management and 14 federal agencies have teamed up to produce a new website called UnlockTalent.gov that gives managers a visualization of the results of the annual Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey.
The insider-only site -- UnlockTalent.gov "is available only to agency leadership and managers" -- delivers information on HR metrics, employee engagement and satisfaction, and information on human resources best practices that is customized on an agency-by-agency basis for managers.
In a video posted July 15, OPM Director Katherine Archuleta explains that the dashboard is "one of the many ways we are working to meet [President Barack Obama's] Second Term Management Agenda goal of creating a culture of excellence and engagement, leading to higher performance."
