The Partnership for Public Service has found that federal agencies lose roughly 4,300 IT professionals each year to retirement and the private sector. The 2014 cohort included the following key leaders:

  • Letitia Long, National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency director
  • Andrew Hunter, director of the Joint Rapid Acquisition Cell in the Defense Department's Office of the Undersecretary for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics
  • Mike Krieger, U.S. Army deputy CIO
  • Bernard Mazer, Interior Department CIO
  • David McClure, associate administrator of the GSA’s Office of Citizen Services and Innovative Technologies
  • Miriam Nisbit, director of the National Archives and Records Administration's Office of Government Information Services
  • Jennifer Pahlka, U.S. deputy chief technology officer in the Office of Science and Technology Policy
  • Todd Park, U.S. CTO in the Office of Science and Technology Policy
  • Latanya Sweeny, Federal Trade Commission chief technologist
